Is it normal to shave your sock line?

Im a guy and personally, my sock line, where the elastic part of the sock goes around my ankle and sort of leg, tends to get a bit itchy when theres hair there. So I have recently been shaving my sock line only, is that normal?

    Ive never heard of a guy shaving their sock line, but were all different-if it feels comfortable to do this, just do it! who cares what others think?
