Is it normal to shave your legs with shower gel?

Maybe you're not washing it off well enough. I use conditioner when I'm out of shaving cream. Makes for very soft skin. :)
You could just have sensitive skin. Switching to shaving gel or a new razor could help. If those aren't an option/working, try finding after-shave gel for women. They're hard to come by, so a VERY gentle lotion could work as well (aloe lotion is a good idea).
Your housemate needs to learn boundaries. It's not her business what you do in the bathroom as long as you clean up after yourself and don't mess with her things.
I mean what's next... critiquing your bowel movements?
At any rate what you do to your own legs is your own business. Many women look at "shaving gel" as an expensive gimmick. We got along quite fine before it ever existed.
Besides, by using your shower gel you're saving money (VERY SMART) and creating less waste.
I used to do that and it worked good. But then I started using shaving cream and it makes my legs MUCH smoother (: That's just me though.
Ive dome that, I find it clogs the blades though, as it doesnt dissolve like shave foam.
Best thing is dry shaving with moisturiser, it saves you from razor burn and nicks, but allowing the moisturiser to sit makes for amazing legs. Great for 'gotta run' mornings/dates.
I've done that before. It's okay, and I normally do it when I run out of my shave gel, and If I need it in hurry before I run to the store. It does itch sometimes, but whatever, it's fine. Don't sweat it.
I use it too and it seems to work fine, doesn't make my legs itch abnormally or anything. I also use shampoo or conditioner if there's not a lot of gel left and I want to save it.
I also use moisturiser as well to shave so it's normal.
I get another use out of a product for free as well so it's all good!
It might itch because shower gel usually has a scent. I have to buy unscented gels and shaving cream because my skin is really sensitive. It's normal though.
I do that. Doesn't cause itchiness though. Perhaps it isn't a good choice for u, as I've heard that soap causes loss of moisture more so than shaving cream.
