    Normal yes, necessary no. Society has told you that you look more beautiful hairless and instead of thinking about this you agreed. That's normal.

    Thts kind of sick. Everyone has hairy arms . It would be non-normal if u did shave ur arms

    Okay thanks everyone! My hair is also dark brown and I was sick for a while...therefore I had to take steroids which made my arm hair grow extremely long and thick.

    i shave my arms because my hair is dark and personally i hate the look of my arms when theyre hairy...

    once i shaved a happy face in my arm. then that area got sun burnt. i shaved the rest of and my arm, which was light and had a tan smiley face for a while. but i am in no way normal sooo that was probably a wierd thing to di.

    No !!!! It would make the hair grow back thicker. Not normal. At least use nair or wax it.

      Hair DOES NOT GROW BACK THICKER...!!!! When haior is dshaved off, it is cut "square" so therefore when it grows back, It grows back with a square end, and not thicker... It appears thicker ONLY On strand of hair per "pore"... No more -no less...!!!

    I shave my arms, I'm female. I just don't like the look of body hair, and for the individual who said it grows back prickly - it actually doesn't. Arm hair is typically very fine, even if you have a lot of it so it grows back gradually/feels normal. It'll eventually just grow back to how it was before, not more "hairy" for those wondering.

    I don't. And my arm hair isn't like dark black. It's.. normal. But I've had one guy go 'Woah, I've never seen a girl with a hairy arm before.'
    Gee thanks, man.

    I wouldn't mind shaving/waxing them just to see all my scars.. I live out bush. And ride horses. So no, I don't cut myself. And I like scars. xD
    But I'm not, because I'm worried the regrowth'll be weird or something.

    I never understood this. Why would a woman shave her arms? It will just be prickly and gross when the hair grows back.

      The question is wrongly worded, it sounds as if a guy should shave HIS hairy arms for a girls.
      The question should have been:-
      I I normal for a girl to shave her arms
