Is it normal to shave legs without the shaving gel?

Okay, Well I was being rushed to go to a special place [not like that lol]
So I didn't have enough time to take a shower so I quickly shaved my legs so I obviously didn't use shaving gel. Is this normal? Because now my legs are irritated, And its really bothering me.

    I don't use shaving gel. I wash my body and then before I rinse off the soap I'll shave.

    I never use shaving gel..I just lather on tge body wash

    Normal. But even a quick squirt body wash or soap would have prevented the irritation. Ya waxing is awsome actually, so worth it!

    If you use cream instead of gel you can shave dry without any irritation. You can also use lotion.

    i shaved my legs once without gel or soap and my skin felt burnt for a week so i have never done it again. if you absolutely have to shave dry then moisturise your legs after which should lessen the irritation.

    sure it's normal...why don't you do waxing once a month? it's more confortable
