Is it normal to share a towel with your family?

I live with my mom, dad and brother and we have towels in the bathroom that we all use. Is that normal? Or do most people have their own?

    I think it's better to have your own towel.You can share other things with your family.

    I'm the one out of ten people in my household that can keep a towel. everyone comes in and try to take it and I'm like what the fuck are you doing. I hate the thought of another body drying off with my towel. they're skin cells and everything else that's all over it makes me sick. I don't wanna be mean so I let them. afterwards I throw that bitch in the washer with bleach.

    You can buy towels these days rather cheaply or pick them up in a garage sale. Having a different color for each member is an easy way to keep things hygienic. Always wash them in hot water to kill the germs. Get you own if you have to and put a hook in your room to keep them separate. But I would NOT share towels with others.

    I share a bathroom with my bro, but have my own towel. I also always hang it on the same towel rail so he knows not to use it.
