Is it normal to shamelessly have bare feet?

I wear nothing on my feet with great pride and people are saying "you can't have bare feet", no? Since when were we ashamed of our feet so we can cover them? Lots of girls and women I know wear nothing on their feet, and hippies go out barefoot. Even in the cold my feet are bare and I'm proud of it, I even go on the bus with bare feet, is that normal?

Barefoot at home good, barefoot just outside home passable.

I see your point, but be careful doing that. there’s nothing wrong about doind it at home, but not on the streets. You could definitely get some sort of warts or infections.

Since I was a kid, I have noticed how there are people afraid of feet. It's like after going shirtless, bare feet is the next taboo part of you to reveal.

Maybe in a beach town, but not to go into stores or restaurants.

Just wear shoes when in public. That's kind of gross.

Yeah its funny you can do anything in barefeet I met a guy who flew on planes barefeet. I didn't wear shoes for a month ever. Except when going to the immigration office. But I went to the mall and rode and walked around. Also at the base of the mountain of tirumala temple I left my shoes and they were taken and then I rode the train across India with no shoes then I walked around new Delhi with no shoes and also I went to Agra and walked very far with no shoes I was also quite sick. Earlier I had lost a toenail from walking into a stone. I stepped on a tiny piece of glass once but that was it. There are not many places more dirty than where I was in Delhi
