Is it normal to sense providence throughout your day/life?

There are times when it seems like I'm experiencing providence, not in a religious way

It's like my entire chest/torso opens up, spiritually, when things line up in just the right way that are totally in my favor/what I wanted

Like in traffic, when cars move so I have hundreds of feet of road in front of me to speed on I get this feeling in a light way

If I'm in a situation involving multiple people, and the interactions lead to things naturally happening the way I'd like them to, potentially with those in power recognizing my moral and spiritual development and those who deceive and plot get their just desserts, I get this feeling in a big way

It's like an alarm that says I'm on the right path

In my whole life whenever somebody wanted to or did do something bad to me or been rude to me... Somehow bad things always happened to them. From dying to getting in accidents to losing jobs to losing their newborn babies.

I don't believe in a deity or that there's some other force organising our lives, and I'm certain that karma is just a pretty myth. Humans are wired to find patterns, so we see them even when it's actually just random stuff.

I do think it's a positive thing to recognise when things are going well, and to feel a sense of appreciation or gratitude. Life can be hard for a lot of people, and it's easy to get locked into focusing on the negative things we have to deal with. Negative thinking makes you not very fun to be with, and it can easily lead to feelings of helplessness and despair.

Few people's lives are so utterly shitty that nothing whatsoever good ever happens to them. Being aware of those things helps with interpersonal relationships and, although positive thinking will only get you so far, it does at least allow you to believe that the struggle is worthwhile and your life can be better.
