Is it normal to self loath on a regular basis?

Just wondering if it was healthy or normal to self loath on a regular basis, about 2 days on, 2 days off.

Not healthy but probably a normal way of thinking for many.

I think it's unnatural but normal in relation to your specific history, nature and experiences in life. If you could like yourself every day it would be a beautiful thing, hey?

Yeah, it's normal. Self loathing won't get you anywhere in life. And no self loathing about your self loathing won't get you anywhere either. Learn to be happy with yourself and do whatever it takes to pursue your self interests (as long as those self interests aren't like killing people). This isn't selfishness, this is progress for you and ultimately society.

    Standard, yes.

Keeping a schedule for it, no.

    It's normal, but not healthy.

I can relate in a way... sometimes the self hate does come back. Not as bad as before, but it will always be there like a dull ache.

Turn that unhealthy self loathing attitude to self deprecating humor as a tool for winning and strengthen your relationship with others.
