Is it normal to seem like the only single one in existence?

I'm 20 years old. I've never really had much luck with relationships, and I am horribly afraid that my time is running out. I can't help but feel like I'm destined to be lonely. Everywhere I go, I see good looking couples, PERFECT couples in fact, and I want that so bad. I just don't think it will ever happen to me. Is it just me, or do you only see couples around you when you're single?

    Whenever you're single, all you see is happy couples, and when you're taken all you see is happy singles

    I am a 19 year old boy and i never had a girlfriend, a date, a first kiss, or got laid. My suggestion is forget about it and get one with your life. If you never find someone I think it is never met to happen.

    that's funny. with many of the couples i see, i think, "how can they possibly have sex?" sometimes i wonder how our race continues. must be due to alcohol!

    enjoy being single! go party :] experience women. The only thing stopping you from meeting someone is the hesitation not to go out and find someone.

    Once it starts, and it will unexpectedly start, you will very likely meet the 'perfect' person the first time and fall in love. But dont kid yourself, there will be another! And the second one is more likely to truly be the perfect one for you. The first is too exciting for you to think clearly, but there will be many to come thereafter, its just a matter of time. Oh, and dont look for it, it will land in your lap! I promise!
