Is it normal to see writing in different language if it is in english

I am learning Russian. Sometimes I see what I think are Russian magazines but they are actually in English. Anyone else learning another script who gets this problem?

    I'm also learning Russian, and I noticed once when I was taking an eye test I said H as N, and sometimes when I see license plates I read them as if they were Cyrillic, just to see if it spells anything funny

    I do! I learnt Russian to and constantly pronounce C as S :P

    It's happened to me once. I took French in high school, and I was reading the back of a product and they had French right underneath the English and I continued reading and got confused for a sec.

    I've also accidentally pronounced English words as if they were French and gotten weird looks lol. It's cool you're learning Russian though :)
