Is it normal to see things lighter in one eye than the other one?

Whenever I close my right eye things look ok but when I open my left eye things are a little lighter. Is that suppost to happen?

    I think so..I have notcied that when I look at my phone and close one eye..and the color is lighter than the other..pretty cool
