Is it normal to see shapes and colors when you listen to music?

Whenever I listen to music, I see these shapes of different sizes, forms, and colors all moving around in my head like some sort of iTunes visualizer. I know I'm not just imagining this because it happens automatically without me really thinking about it. I first thought that this was what everyone saw when they listened to music, but after mentioning this to some of my friends, no one else seems to see the same things as me. I am on no medication of any kind, I have never taken any recreational drugs or alcohol, and I don't have any history of mental problems. Is this normal? Does anyone else out there have something like this?
