Is it normal to see people killing other people in my nightmares?

I had a dream I killed my roommate once and piece by piece I cut her up and scattered her around town, having to hide smaller and smaller boxes... what was creepy is this happened for like a week... and my roommate was gone for 3 months on the other side of the country.
I remember being stressed out, I've dreamt I've killed people, people try to kill me, gone on a zombie killing spree... there's a lot of death in my dreams when I'm not in a pleasant mood... maybe your dream means something?

Maybe you have a fear about those people dying or maybe you are possibly angry at those people and do not realize it.

I once dreamed about someone eating a potato, ALIVE.
It was horrible >:(
