Is it normal to see everyone happy while i am always sad?

I've always felt sad most of the time, but I see the great majority of people happy and getting on forward with their lives. I feel as if I am stuck with depression and as if I did not grow beyong 15 years old. I am already middle-aged and my life is miserable.

The only advice that I will give you and the only one that works is willpower.

I know how many excuses you will make for yourself and think that "No, I can't do that." "Why is everyone happy? How am I not" and blah blah blah.

I am writing in this manner because I was once like that also. Nobody will make happiness for us but ourselves. It is up to you to turn your life upside down in a good way. Don't rely on the thought that one day you will out of nowhere be this happy middle-aged man.

Why aren't you happy? When you see others happy, what is it that makes you feel depressed? I know how terrible depression is. You have to keep on going. Fight for yourself.

People are not what they seem to be. They look happy, but are they really? We all have issues, but we have to make the best out of what we have.

Is there something you have wanted for some time now? Go and get it. I know that it won't happen just like that, but trust me, if you keep on pushing yourself you will make it happen for yourself.

Take your time. You might not be fully happy next month, but what will make your life much more enjoyable is when you realise that "Wow, all I had to do was take a very deep breath, tell myself that it is all allright, and have both faith and hope that day by day I will achieve what I want and finally, after you have given it your all, happiness will be my best friend."

Don't give up on yourself. :D

Figure out what is making you miserable and do something about it , think back to when you were 15 and what you wanted back then in life, if possible you can still go for it, never to late to turn a life around

LOL, girls in the end are more trouble: you fall in love and then there is unhappiness. They give you temporary pleasure. To find a true soulmate is very tough.

Get help. Talk to a psychiatrist. You don't have to do this alone.
