Is it normal to see a man in my room at night

so i saw a man in my room at like 4:00am, and i was like wtf? he was standing right beside my bed. he was wearing a suit and beneath it he was really pale, and the thing that struck me the most was that he was headless. and it was weird and scary but i couldnt move at all. i was paralyzed. i couldnt get back to sleep either, so i stood there staring at him and finally shut my eyes. i woke up again, and got ready to go out normally, and when i was walking to the station, i felt like the man was following me, i could feel his presence as weird as that sounds, and i refused to turn around because i didnt want to see him. throughout the day i felt like he was always there and i felt like crying so much. is this normal?

It's sleep paralysis. Your brain wakes up but your body doesn't properly, you're still dreaming but your brain is keeping your body in sleep state. For some reason, the brain decides to show us stuff that scares the shit out of us in these situations.

Basically, you could say it's like half dream, half hallucination.

See I knew of sleep paralysis but I never knew that you could hallucinate from from dreams when it occurred.

I suppose you could sleep with a boyfriend for a feeling of safety.

Look. What you need to do is read a short story by Stephen King called: The Boogey Man. Read it late at night with a dim light lit in your room. You know when everything around you is deathly quiet. This will calm you right down. You'll see. :-O

You had a very scary dream, that's all, get over it: everyone has them so they're normal, but believing they're real is not normal unless you're far too young to be on this site

Probably hallucination. Or a ghost. My boyfriend sees stuff but while he's totally awake.
