Is it normal to say i love you this soon?

Hey guys.

I'll keep this short and hopefully is a bit different from silly relationship questions asked on here.

Basically met a guy back in April through a friend, didn't see him again until June. He was very forward going and I went out with him on one date, I met him for lunch twice after this within a week and he started saying that he loves me.

I always thought I was quick falling in love but even I'm not that quick! is it normal to fall in love with someone that quickly?!

    Keep in mind that those who fall in so quick can also fall out so quick. Someone as rash as him may someday leave you just as rash. Although not true to everybody, it's quite the common possibility.

    He's full of sh1t and just trying to move the relationship on very quickly to get you to sleep with him.

    This is an old line. Don't fall for it!

    It's hard to judge wether this is normal or not, everyone feels differently, maybe he has fallen for you quickly, or maybe he is just trying to get in you're pants either way don't say or do anything you don't feel ready for :)

    Hmm, the problem is, none of us fall in love like the flick of a switch. It's something that develops over time and (a) different people have differing ideas of what it is to be in love, plus (b) people feel comfortable saying it at different times too.

    I can only say this is normal, because every relationship I've had, men and women, said it really early.

    An ex of mine even said it before we were dating, I kid you not.

    This is normal, when people fall on love it's in the matter of minutes. It doesn't matter if you known them for a day or two years!

    Men can be so weird when it comes to love. They might talk about love at first sight and ask you to move in with them or switch schools to stay together. And then they'll forget that they invited you to a concert.

    I don't think this guys is quite sure what love is. If he says that he loves you again just say "I honestly think this relationship is moving to fast" Be honest with him tell him that this bothers you.

    Whatever you do don't lie or feel pressured to love him back. He'll try. Unintentionally the way everyone does. Just you wait before you hear "but so and so's girlfriend does this"

    Or don't listen to either of the above. Maybe it's a legit love he has for you.
