Is it normal to rush things in life?

I'm 21 years old and clearly I don't have a life. I don't have a drivers license, no car and no job as of now but I believe this will make my life go round. I live with my dad and stepmother and they both work a lot. I really want to get my dad to take me to a class to drive so I can move on with my life but my dad says it takes time and not to go too fast with this after getting excited that he will do this.

I don't have a high school friends to chat with or anybody to talk to so I spend times alone reading books I have little to no interest in.

I'm just venting but can or could you relate it?

It may take time because you need to get a job to pay for insurance to get your id. At least tend college. How can you be 21 and still worried about "friends" and "highschool life". You"ll never mature into a man until you move out and start acting like it. You can do it!

Not having a car a licence or job isn't exactly rushing things.

Remember this feeling, because it can get worse and it is fatal if left untreated.

It's called unfulfillment, and you've already found a cure. You can't trick yourself into happiness—you have to suffer a little, improve yourself a little each day, and you can't rely on anyone else. You have to accomplish things, like getting a driver's license.

Being able to drive yourself around won't just make you more independent and happy. It will make you satisfied about who you are.

Yeah these things happen with us in life
with me i quit Business School cause the
course was too hard, i developed paranoia
extreme anxiety, from age 19-45 i bounced
around going to different doctors for medical
and mental health issues..I go out for walks
but i feel like this non-existing feeling
i was told i have Disassociation disorder,
    Bipolar, Depression, Anxiety..I just wish
that i could wake up from this dream like
state of mind that I often go in and there
is times it can worst than other times but
this has been happening since my teen years
but i never learned to drive cause i believe
the anxiety part of my illness is what is
causing me to experience these things.
