Is it normal to run around naked at home at age 22?

I am a 22 year old guy and I live with my parents. When I was a teenager up until sometime when I was about 17 I used to run around naked at home all the time. My family was okay with it and let me be naked pretty much anytime, even at the dinner table, as long as family friends weren't over (my friends were okay and they usually got naked too). At 17 I started to wear boxers because I thought I was getting a little too old to be naked around the house and have worn boxers ever since. Now, I am kind of wanting to go naked again because of the freedom but feel it might be a little weird for a grown man in his 20s to be naked around his folks. My best friend who is my age does it sometimes and he feels completely fine about it. Can anybody else relate?

    Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to live in a naked society.

    I don't think it's normal, no, but I don't see anything particularly wrong with it so long as nothing is going on...

      I also wonder that, until I go to Walmart, or a state fair. Then I realize that the clothing is there for our own protection!

        Gross people are bad to look at with clothes on, having them off wouldn't make much of difference to me and as long as everybody else was also not wearing clothes, it really wouldn't be big deal at all like it seems like it would. :P

    I grew up in S. Florida always hot and an only child. My parents use to let me play in the back naked all the time. The back yard is fenced in no one can see. Even when her lady friends came over with there kids I would be naked. I swam in the pool naked and still do. I am 41 now and still live home and I do still walk around naked they are cool with that and does not bother me at all, no big deal they are my parents. My dad still swims naked with me also. I still mow the lawn naked as well. People get way too hung up on nudity here in the US.

    it's cool- no problem. now that i am an adult and have a family i usually walk around nude- so does my wife and kid. and whatever age my kid is i wouldn't care if he walked around naked. wish i had parents as cool as yours. if i tried walking around naked when i was a teen they would of tried to spank my bottom so hard that i wouldn't be able to sit down for dinner!

    My father is 56 and he used to do it when me and my brother were younger and dind't know about sex.It's totally normal.You might even like open spaces and houses.It shows your desire of freedom and how open you might be to tohers.
    On the other hand I am exaxt the opossite.I cannot go aorunf without clothes and I prefer small spaces and my door closed.I am a more close person and more alert..

    When I am alone being naked is just fine. Although if I tried to sit at the dinner table naked my family would flip shit! I don't think your hurting anybody though, different strokes for different folks!

      Yeah, different families have different standards definitely. My parents grew up in the 60s and were always like said if running around naked was the worst thing I did, then I was a pretty good kid. The only reason I started wearing clothes was because of societal pressure and the fact people would think that being naked at my age was strange. I am totally beyond the nudity = sex thing that permeates our culture today. The other night with my friend we hung out naked and just played video games then legos then went out and chilled in the hot tub for a bit. Nothing sexual about it at all. I am thinking about going to dinner tomorrow night naked and seeing what happens. It shouldn't be that much of a shock since I usually am wearing only boxers or gym shorts.

          Haha yeah as you said different strokes for different folks. So I went to dinner naked last night. My dad said he thought I was too old to be naked around the house but he said it was my decision to make and I could be naked if I wanted except for when family friends or my female friends come over. I can still be naked when my guy friends come over. Needless to say, I've been naked ever since and am loving the freedom!

    I don't think your situation is normal, it sounds rather strange. Be naked when there's no one else in the house or when you're by yourself in your room.

      I hear ya. I actually haven't went naked at my house except to sleep or shower since I was 17 and am still deciding if I want to again around my family. Saturday night I went to my best friend's house and we hung out naked all night. Like me, he was into nudism as a teenager but stopped once he got older. He is now going naked again and when I came over I stripped down as well. The feeling of freedom was amazing and it really brought out my inner child. If I could be naked all the time everywhere I would. I think we are going to go to a nude beach this summer.
