Is it normal to rub towels against my feet?

Whenever I sleep, I run a hand made blanket against my feet(similar to the fiber of a bathroom towel). It feels good, in a way I cannot describe. Is this normal?

    Normal to me, seeing how I sometimes do the same thing with a corduroy chair or carpet.

    If it's good enough to wipe your ass with it after taking a shit,then it should be alright with your feet.
