Is it normal to roll my eyes compulsivly?

I roll my eyes, and if I don't do it it bothers me. It's not an attitude thing, and somtimes I do it so much, that by the end of the day my eyes hurt. Some days it's worse than others. I think it might be a terretsism ( or however you spell it ) thing. I can choose not to do it, but it bothers me if I don't, sand I won't stop thinking about it if I hold myself back. People notice it and think I'm an @ss but I'm not. Does anyone have this problem? Is it some form of terettes?

It could be tourettes, OCD, or a nervous/anxiety tick. The only way to truley know is if you go to your Dr & tell him the issue.

I used to do something like that and i have OCD. But instead of rolling my eyes i had to shut them as hard as I could.

This happens to me too! I have been looking everywhere to see if it’s normal. I also blink a lot and roll my eyes constantly but it’s not an attitude problem.

I do it every day to the point that it hurts. My language arts high school teacher gets so mad at me because she thinks that i have an attitude with her.my classmates tell me that every time they look at me, im always looking up, or rolling them. My mom gets really mad and doesn't believe me when i tell her that they hurt. When i talk to my bff, im always rolling them and ive told her what happens so like whenever she sees me rolling my eyes, she knows why. But the problem is, i do it in every direction. I look down at my right and then to the left. Then i look up do much that it hurts so bad but i try not to.its a really annoying think and i wish i was back to before.my dad said its because my eyes get tired.i wear glasses and well they broke. But still, with or wothout glasses, i do that.i really need help, i really dont wanna spend the rest of my life like thiseven my borther askes my why i do this. HELP

I have this same exact thing and I hate it. People always think I'm being rude when it's just something I kind of have to do. I have no idea how to fix it but I feel your pain :/

I have the same exact problem that you have. When I first went to the eye doctor, he diagnosed me with having a Lazy eye in my left eye. It was no big deal. After a year or so, my eye continued to get worse, and worse, and worse. I started having to roll my eyes all the time just to make my left eye feel better. It almost felt like my eye was stuck or something was irritating it. When I would roll my eyes, it would feel better only for a little bit. I started rolling my eyes more and more to the point that by the end of the day I would have horrible headaches, and my eyes would hurt so bad. I went to my doctor, and he told me that he had no idea what it could be (that ticked me off, ALOT). He put me on eye lubricant, and artificial tears for about a month. They did nothing, actually, they made it about 10x worse. So I stopped taking them. I went back to the doctor, and he told me that it was just in my head. And here I am today, with horrible eye problems. It hasn't gotten any better. It's gotten worse. And I have no clue what I should do next. So I have no idea what it is, but I hope someone figures it out!

I'm actualy watching a show on OCD right now lol. I think it might be a form of terrettes. I've heard of somthing called terettesism (no idea how to spell it lol). I just don't think it's OCD.
