Is it normal to rip constantly......

I'm a virgin but I have fooled around with ONLY one person, the guy I messed around with is a virgin and he's never done anything I was his first kiss etc, well we did stuff & I ripped but now it's constant every time that we do things I rip, I don't know what to do.... I don't wanna let him get it in & tare me completely but how do you stretch it out to get it in.... HELP!!!!
