@ the OP, Shampoo first, rinse it out, than condition, leave that in for two or three minutes, than rinse that out. But if you really want your hair to feel nice like silk withOUT having to do any mask (unless your doing a mask for coloring), if your not coloring, just scramble an egg into a mug, add a small dab of mayo (about a teaspoon full) into the mug and mix it up well, than pour and smear it all over your head and work it onto your entire scalp, leave the egg/mayo mix in for at least an hour, two hours is better, than shampoo your hair to get the egg out, rinse, than condition, leave that in for about 5 minutes and than rinse it out, It kinda smells gross when the mix is wet in your hair but it rinses right out with the shampoo and you will absolutely love the results, and it's all good for your hair and wont hurt anything!.. FYI-Shampoo only WASHES dirt, oils and other contaminants out of hair, it does nothing more and nothing less, it doesn't actually strip anything other than it only washes off oil, there are NO nutrients ON your hair to strip off! That is just a bunch of marketing lies someone heard too much from TV commercials! Hair is not alive either, as way too many ignorant people seem to think or when people say "I need my dead ends clipped" There are no dead "ends" either! You know why? Because ALL of you hair IS dead once it leaves the follicle! Only your hair follicles under the skin on your scalp contains nutrients and only the follicles are alive. Conditioner does NOT make anyone's hair curly either, especially if you brush it out before you blow dry, which blow drying is one thing people should absolutely NEVER do, unless you want your hair to curl up and feel like hay! My hair actually comes out straighter when I condition and I never blow dry so it always feels like silk! Also for nice hair and skin take at least 750mg of vitamin-E every morning, anything higher is a waste. Hope that helps!

Shampoo strips the nutrients from the hair, but it's the exact opposite with conditioner! Choose or a see a hairdresser.

I only leave conditioner on my hair when I want it to curl. But I guess you can work that out.
