Is it normal to respond to this random girl on facebook
First off, I know this might sound ridiculous to some, but it is what it is. I feel like I need some opinions on this. I get this friend request from this random girl on Facebook. I accepted it not thinking much of it. Later, I log in to see what was going on and it APPEARS she's trying to hook up with me. She sent me a message with her number saying she wants me to text her. Who knows what's really going on here. It's definitely sketchy and I'm definitely skeptical about responding back with all the internet safety issues you hear about. The name sounds somewhat familiar like I may have met her at some point in life, but I know it wasn't anytime recently, and if I did it was probably a brief encounter.
The thing is I don't really have any girls coming into my life right now and my opportunities are limited because I've lived a pretty secluded life thus far. So, I really don't meet many people often. I keep thinking if I don't try to at least give this a slight chance I'll never really know. So, what the hell, why not have some fun with this?
Should I actually text this number and cautiously see where this goes, or avoid all conflict, assume it's complete BS, and blow it off? Would it be normal to respond back to this stranger?
