Is it normal to remember your first erection?

I wonder if anyone else can remember the first time they were turned on by something. I mean, I may have been randomly erect before, but this was the first time it was ever caused by my train of thought. At 7/8 years old I was watching the simpsons episode where bart is reading something onstage to mr burns, then a giant shoe on a stick comes and kicks bart in the ass.

I remember thinking something like 'I wish rachel from S Club 7 got kicked like that on stage, that would be really funny'...then I thought it would be even funnier/embarrassing for her if she was naked. Since I wasn't too familiar with the female anatomy, my mind covered her with a whipped cream bikini, just like one I had seen when I wondered in on some film before my family changed the channel.

Then all I could think about was going onto the stage and helping her wipe the cream off, revealing the parts of her body that were unknown to me. I felt really overwhelmed and fixated on it, then hey presto! The first woman to ever give me an erection. Is it normal that I remember that?

    yeah i was about 5 when i had my first erection. i erected a house of cards.. it was pretty cool.

    Babies get erections when their parents change their diapers. I doubt that was your first erectile response to stimulation.

    That being said, I remember pieces of early childhood that left impressions every bit that profound.

    So yes...it's normal.

        I caught that.

        Your point is taken though...the example I used was from involuntary response to touching...but my point still stands.

        ...though this is such a silly, lighthearted topic to argue about, there's no way to know when you popped your first trouser tent from erotic fantasies. It's possible that the same thoughts crossed your mind several months before without remembering it.

        ...but it's still normal to feel that way. I've been overwhelmed with memories of past experiences that came from the most obscure places.

        I recollected how secure the feeling of a bottle's nipple felt when I held one in my mouth as I changed my oldest son's diaper...at 28. Never crossed my mind before that. Suddenly I was flooded with memories of drinking chocolate milk, in the southwest corner of our old house, in a room painted green/blue, from a bottle.

    I used to hate getting erections, all I knew about them at first was that they made it harder to aim when I had to pee.

    It'd be impossible to not remember the first time you remembered your erection. If you didn't remember it, you wouldn't remember it.
