Is it normal to regularly get vaginal discharge?

Okay, well every day when I take my knickers off there is some sort of crusty layer of yellowy stuff in my knickers. Often there is a little wet patch of it as well- the bit that is more 'fresh'. Every now and then I check my knickers when I go to the toilet or something and I see a sort of clump of yellowy/whitey gooey stuff in my knickers - it then goes crusty over time.
Is this normal!?
I haven't had sex before so I don't have an STD...
Is this weird?

Not all discharge means you have a UTI, Yeast infection or STD. It;s actually normal - the body cleaning itself. The only reason it looks crusty and yellow is because it's reacted with the air and dried.

Just change you knickers regularly and you're good.

I was about to rant over these girls not understanding their own anatomy but you saved me the trouble with your less annoyed version of the same message.
EmeraldRunway's the only person in here who's got it right.
What you described is not a health concern. If you're feeling any pain, itching or any type discomfort in your lower abdomen, lower back or anywhere in your vaginal region, please investigate further. Otherwise, you're fine. You're body's doing it's job.

    It's thrush.

I don't know. As long as it's not bleeding every month or so, it'll be alright.

If it does bleed every month or so, alert your doctor. In the meantime, put a bandaid on the ol' baby-cannon.

    Good luck.

It's normal. I always get that for about a week or two before I get my period.

Some people get more vaginal discharge than others. If it smells funky or your vajay-jay stings, go to the doctor. Otherwise you're probably fine, but a visit to the gyno is never a horrible idea.

It´s not UTI or a yeast infection, it´s merely your body cleaning itself.
The reason it looks yellow and crusty because it dried because of air.~`

It sounds generally normal. As long as the yellow is not too dominant. The reason you get so much discharge is because your body is cleaning itself out. If you are worried about it you can see a doctor, but I think this is normal.

  • Women have different amounts of discharge and thickness. You can get small pantyliners to keep fresh and keep your panties not gooey.
