Is it normal to regularly become sad for no reason?
Frequency ranges from once a week to nearly every day, but it lasts only a few hours. However, during those moments I'm hardly functioning and often have to use physical pain to snap out of it

I think its pretty normal for me but ive always had depression/anxiety so its normal to me. But if its new to you, talk to a doctor.
Depression.
I have this though, I get extremely beaten down emotionally easily, but I have suspected depression in myself quite a few times. Was even told by a therapist once that I might suffer from depression but it was never looked into any deeper and I haven't bothered either. There's definietely treatment though if you have it really badly and struggle hard with managing it on your own.
You might have depression, bro. Do you snap at people a lot?
Get yourself some meds. SSRIs are pretty sweet for feeling generally good.
I have something similar but its more like sometimes I'm off. I cant really explain it but I'll be really hype for a few weeks. Ill be feeling awesome and then a week or two ill fill like something isnt firing off ill stutter and lose coordination abit.
