Is it normal to recycle your dirty underwear for weeks or longer?

When you run out of clean laundry, and you don't do your laundry, you have to rewear what you're wearing until it gets ripe. Then on to the next dirty underwear in your hamper. And you rewear that one until it gets ripe. Then when all the underwear has been reworn, rewear them again from the start because it has had more time to air dry. Then repeat until you finally do your laundry.

    This is disgusting! You can buy underwear in multi-packs if you're too lazy.

      Agreed joybird...I have many pairs of clean underwear, and I rarely wear mine for more than two days straight...and then only if I'm not figuring on going anywhere and they don't have any stains or holes in them...otherwise...they get changed...I've only worn a pair of underwear for 3 days straight 3 times in the last 20 years...twice when I was hospitalized for 2 days apiece and once when I had the chills and rarely got out of my bed...usually I change my underwear every day...

      Absolutely...When I was young...our family didn't have much money...and both my parents worked full-time...At one time...I had just 6 pairs of underwear...and occasionally had to check for the cleanest pair available at the time...when I started to make my own money...I basically told myself "no more" and have had no problem maintaining a more than adequate supply to allow me to change daily...

      ...yep...I do laundry about once a week...and you can always get more underwear if necessary...I have adequate supply of them to go a long time without washing them and still have the ability to put on a clean pair each morning...

    Try washing your underwear by hand in the sink with handsoap and drying it on a hanger or clothes line if you run out of underwear and can't get to a washer/dryer....this is huge problem especially if you are female--dirty underwear will make you prone to infections.....I'm also sure you can tolerate the stank of your privates, but I guarantee others will not!

    Occasionally I'll go a week in the same briefs, but once they're in the hamper, that's where they stay until they can get washed.

    Okay, I'm sorry, but that's just plain laziness. Your only problem is your inability to get your lazy ass up and do some laundry. Do us all a favor. It's not that difficult. Jesus.

    Hahaha this is amazing! But seriously, do what I do, if you don't have time to do your laundry, just take a couple pairs of underwear into your shower. Scrub them and then hang dry, it gives you a few extra days (or in your case, weeks perhaps) to put off doing your laundry.
