Is it normal to really like a girl after one conversation?

I was in the college library doing some studying, and sat next to me was this girl who was reading a book. I felt some kind of attraction towards her and so after a while I just casually started a conversation and it just went so well, considering we didnt know each other at all. We laughed so much and got to know each other well, this girl even lives really close to me. We told each other our names and I added her on facebook but shes got it insanely private so I cant contact her at all. No messages or comments. Stupidly, I didnt get her number because I thought it was a little forward. Its really frustrating because I cant stop thinking about her and its been a week since that day in the library.

Anyway, what I'm thinking is, is it normal to like a girl a lot after just one conversation?

P.S, give me some ideas on how to make some progress with this...thanks!

    You cant message her but she can see your status posts! Write something to her and tag her in it! Start a convo on YOUR page than ask for the digits :}

      i say do this, and i feel ya my man. it not "love" but you feel like it could easily turn into that type of affection right? I myself was toying with asking out the girl i talk to at the movie store, haha what so i have a slight crush whatever =P

    I was going to say that it seems like your only option would be to stalk the library until you "casually" run into her again, but I like Ms.Caffinated's idea better :)

    Next time you see her, go talk to her in person. You can't seduce someone on facebook, you need to see each other irl for that.

    It's all academic now. I just saw her update her facebook relationship status and shes going out with the guy, so all initial ideas of he and that guy have been proved correct!

    I'll have to move on.

    You can send her a private message on FB or send a friend request. I don't see any problem. Anyhow, if it's meant to be you will meet each other again.

    Totally normal; I feel the same about a guy I met who was working at a mall. He lives a couple hours from me and we only met once, but he was awesome. I felt like we really clicked, you know. Well I hope we can meet again sometime. Good luck, hope you see her again.

    Dont make urself look like a creep. ignore her unless you see her in the library again and if she gives some sense of facial recognition when u see her in the library.

      Well I just saw her again in the library but she was with some guy. Obviously I couldn't really do anything. She didnt seem to recognise me either. (walked past me with her head down) I'm not usually one to feel that bad over this but that's made me feel pretty terrible like.

      I guess all I can do is just keep studying in the library and perhaps one day I might bump into her again when she is alone.
      I can't do much if she is with another guy can I?

      Ah, the chasing game sucks!

        If she put her head down, that guy may be her bf. If he wasn't I'm sure she would've said hi.
