Is it normal to randomly hear a high pitched noise
When I'm just lying down or sat down I suddenly hear an irritating high pitched noise. I ask anyone else can they hear but they say no. Does this ever happen to anyone else?

it commonly happens after you have been around loud things like machinery, crowds, ect. it usually happens during the night... sometimes I hear it when im trying to sleep. the medical terms for it is tinnitus
This will happen to me from time to time, and my dads a doctor, so i'm pretty sure its normal
happens to me I can't stand being around the old CPU screens I hear a very faint high pitched squeal almost like a high pitched white noise
I have the ability to slightly hear dog wistles. At the end of the Beatles song "A Day in the Live" Ringo plays a dog wistle, and when I put my ear up against the speaker on my laptop, I hear it, really softly. It sounds almost like absolute silence, and I can tune it out really easily.
sounds like tinnitus. but maybe you're part dog or superman and you have the ability to hear high pitched sounds that regular humans can't.
