I have a very high paying job but I'm bored out of my MIND!! I cannot seem to make a move though as the money makes me comfortable. Is quitting the only real way to get a slap in the face?
I would say you should have a plan B in the wings. You might regret quitting when the reality of bills etc hits you.
Don't ever quit. Not until you have a solid, 100% guaranteed offer elsewhere. Start filling your weekends with other meaningful activities you enjoy. Otherwise, you're really asking for your own ruin.
if it compromises your free time in which you'd like to do more meaningful things, then by all means yes and f**k it away as soon as you can.
How can a well paying job be boring? Usually the amount of stress is proportional to the responsibilities given. I want that job lol
Money isn't everything as I suspect you are beginning to become aware of.
You only get one go around here, so if I were you I wouldn't waste it chasing the almighty dollar.
