Is it normal to put off emotional pain and grieve months later?

So, I have a tendency to put off feelings until much later on. For example, a childhood friend recently cut me off and it's been about 6 or 7 months and I'm just now getting really emotional over it. Also, my dog passed away almost a year and a half ago and I'm still crying over it at least once a week. My Grandmom died 3 months ago and I haven't cried over it at all, even if I try. I have a feeling in a few months I will go through a time where I suddenly start grieving over the loss. Do you think it's normal?0

You're a robotic clone. Your memories have been downloaded from a dead hooker from 1970's L.A. just focus, blink 6 times while singing Lionel Richie's " Hello". You'll come back to present reality

Everyone grieves in his own way. You need to allow yourself to go through the whole grief cycle: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.

    Yeah, it can be.

You deal with things how you want/need to deal with them, just make sure you do actually deal with them.

Don't let other people tell you how to grieve.
