No, it is not normal. YOu should be able to trust your daughter at this age. its ok to put it in a baby/toddler room as they might get into situations when they might need help (like tangling themselves in something or having a bad dream at night etc.) Also, you should question your motives for doing this as if your motives are not pure safety concerns you should work on yourself and either get over it or get some help. hope this helps!
I can understand you doing if she is a great looking lady and home nudity is not acceptable. Hot young ladies are great to look at. Since we are home nudist, I don't have this problem with my teenage daughters.
