Is it normal to put my purse/bag on the floor when i am sitting at

I don't put it on the table or next to me, I put it on the floor.

Even if I go to a friends house, I put my bag on the floor.

    I don't do it bc of how dirty floors are. especially floors in bathroom stalls. i dont see how women put their purses on floors in stalls. nasty!

    Please don't do that. I actually got robbed that way. My husbands wallet was in there. They took my money, took his credit card and put my credit card in it's place. We didn't find out till way later after dinner. The people next to us had left. We called the police and they laughed saying something like that couldn't happen. If my purse has straps, I now drape it over my leg.

    I made THAT $300 mistake too. Never ever leave it on the floor...you'll forget it one day when you're in a rush AND staff will NEVER be honest about it!!!

    Besides, floors are too dirty to leave em there. Or IF you must, at least set a kleenex or piece of paper between your purse and floor.

    It gets dirty like shoes. Think about it, what if you go home and put it on your kitchen counter.

    Yep legend has it that; if you put your purse on the floor, money will always fall out! Metaphoricaly speaking of course!

    Putting your bag on the floor is actually considered bad luck.

    And it makes it easy for people to steal it.
    So it may be normal...but not quite as safe
