Is it normal to put ketchup on a chocolate chip cookie?

My neighbor likes to put ketchup on his chocolate cookies. I find this rather revolting. Is this normal?

Ketchup is delicious, but I do have to disagree about putting it on a chocolate chip cookie. That is definitely not normal.

I've never really liked ketchup. Even as a kid I would only eat it mixed with mustard. Then I realized I was tainting my mustard so ketchup got the boot. And the amount that i see some people use is insane. Like its gotta cover up the taste of the food entirely. Why!! Ewwwwwwww

Oh I definitely don't do that, I only use ketchup as a compliment to french fries or something.

          Do you like tomatoes then?

Not a huge fan of tomatoes. If they are on or in something I'll eat some of them but I wont go out of my way for them. I do love sauce though with chunks of tomatoes in it. There is a sauce/gravy that my grandpa used to make that was one of my favorites. It was some pork dish with ketchup mixed in the pork juice in the pan. Now that is some tasty goodness

Ketchup was made for a single purpose, and that purpose is fries.

I remember on an episode of "The Odd Couple" where Felix says to Oscar: "I have two of your favorite things - chocolate chip cookies & ketchup!". I tried this combo the other day, & it's delicious! The sweetness of the chocolate chips & the tomatoey tang of the ketchup offset each other perfectly. Try it, you'll love it!!!

Sounds gross to me, but to each their own. I eat cucumbers and strawberries together, and put cottage cheese on potato chips. :]

About as normal as a peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwich.

It's normal. It's like one of those peanut-butter-with-my-Oreos type of things. I like to dip Lays chip in my vanilla milkshake. I do it all the time.
