i have a habbit of putting butter on my toast and then a spread like jam!
ive done it most of my life is it normal?

    I always butter toast-it would feel strange not to. It softens the toast :)

    Yep -- normal.

    I do the same -- make the toast, put butter on it (and let the butter melt...), then
    apply the jam/jelly/preserves.

    Yum.

    i put butter on my toast, then peanut butter. tastes great. i don't care if anyone thinks it's weird. i like it.
