Is it normal to pretend my girlfriend is with me and hug my pillow?

My girlfriend and I are in a long distant relationship, I love her alot but we've not met yet. We video chat, call each other and talk every day and at night I hug my pillow pretending that it's her. Nothing sexual I just hug it. Is it normal

It's sweet. Before my husband and I were married, we lived 350 miles apart. I would spray one of his t-shirts with his cologne and then put it on a pillow and hug it all night.

No, it's actually not...weird, Im in a long distance relationship now, and sometimes I imagine him here....or imagine me there with him, just so I can know how it would feel to meet him and b physically with him

But, you haven't met her... Then you wouldn't even know what to imagine the pillow feeling like right?
Oh well, I'm not cut out for long distance romance.

Maybe she's a pillow person. YOU DON'T KNOW.

Ah, you mean like those Japanese manga pillows? Well, I should have considered that from the beginning. I'm so sorry!

No no no, I mean a pillow with a living human head attached.

My wife actually calls me her huggy pillow.

Sometimes when we feel lonely, just imagining someone there with us is enough to comfort our soul. The pillow only offers tangibility; it can never replace a human being. Understand that, and you need not worry.

    Awwwww.

Print out a picture of her and tape it to your pillow.
