Is it normal to pretend i'm something i'm not?

I have an extremely good imagination and I don't act my age a lot.

Anyway, a lot of times I like to pretend I'm an imp and like for people to refer to me as an imp.

This is because there is a character in the game Zelda: Twilight Princess who has the same name as me and she's an imp and I really like this character, a lot. Many times I wish I could turn into an imp or something, like in the game.

    In my opinion, I think it's good to pretend no matter how old you are. A good imagination is hard to come by these days. I think you're perfectly normal to want to be an imp. I've always wanted to have special powers. It's something normal, but that only happens in dreams.

    A lot of people pretend they are SOMEONE they are not, but that isn't what you mean. Pretending to be an imp is only normal if you are 14 or under. Otherwise, it's just annoying and strange, and for people to tell you otherwise is detrimental to the point of this website. Nobody does that, and if they did, you would probably know someone else that did it.

    I do this too, pretending I'm a character from either a game or an anime, all the time. I don't tell people about it though and usually just do this when I'm alone. I just find it being a perk of having a good imagination, even if people don't consider it normal - it's a lot of fun!
