Is it normal to prefer rickenbacker above all other guitar brands?

I really love Rickenbacker guitars and basses. Of course, Gibson and Fender and Ibanez make really good guitars as well, but I really love the particular Rickenbacker sound.

Am I the only one who has a fetish for some kinda guitar or bass?

    I think the Bc rich ironbird is fucking sweet. Bc Rich has overall sick ass looking guitars although i heard they are notorious for having shitty electronics.
