Is it normal to prefer being cheated on or used by a person?

So both options suck. But I'm just curious what would people prefer more to be with someone and find out they cheated on you or to be with someone and find out their just using you for their own personal gain. What would a normal person decide?

    I'd rather be cheated on than used... If I was cheated on I could move on (time would heal my wounds of being betrayed) but if I was used I die inside all my confidence to trust people would leave then I wouldn't know who is trully my friend and I'd be lost thinking Am I alone? I would be so scard to let myself be vulnerable near someone again ....I don't know I think I might be putting them together? ..I feel being used is just the worst and I'd feel terrible...
