Is it normal to prank call a classmate by farting in a phone?
When I was in law school, one of my classmates was very high strung and constantly worried about the massive debt he was racking up and was concerned that he wouldn't be able to find a high-paying job to pay down this debt. One of my other friends and I would call this guy's room all hours of the day and would fart in the phone if he answered or the call went to his answering machine. I heard that he was expecting a phone call after a job interview and was really pissed off when his phone kept ringing and it was just people farting in the phone. My buddy and I sometimes ripped our own farts and other times used one of those old hand-held electronic devices that makes a fart sound.
This guy never did figure out who was pranking him. Years later, my buddy and I still occasionally call him late at night and fart in the phone even though he is now married and his wife hears the farts if the calls go to the answering machine.
This guy was a jerk and was rumored to have stolen some law books from the law library that we all needed prior to a legal writing exam, so I figure he more than deserves the fart pranks! We always do a *67 on the phone line so he cannot trace the phone number.
