Is it normal to poke oneself with a needle?

Is it normal that I poke a prominent vein located on my thigh because it reduces the appearce of the vein and the rapid outpour of the blood amuses me? I just started doing it and it only hurts a little to do....the only sideeffect after appears to be a slight bruising on the thigh. Could this be considered self mutilation? I also have a habit of scratching or messing with minor skin defects in an effort to remove them.

That's it. This has got to be the most diabolical IIN article I have ever read, and also the fakest.

You must really hate the song you're so vain(vein) eh?
But you'd rather have bruises than a vein sticking out? really?

You should get into acupuncture. It has benefits and it is a lot safer too.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acupuncture

ThroughRock, you clearly just started here. There are much more ridiculous IIN's. I particularly like all the "I need human blood" ones after the twilight blast.

This is not normal, you have minor OCD, you should seek help. If you are young(er) fix this now, as messing with your vericose veins is gonna be UGLY.

I recommend that you don't do this because you could get infection, you could mess up and hurt yourself badly, you could get a bad reputation if people find out, you could get an addiction, and it seems like most people would agree with me in saying that its not healthy so I think there must be even more significant reasons for why you shouldnt.
