Is it normal to pluck out my pubic hair?

I feel an urge if I see any pubic hair at all, I have to get rid of it with a pair of tweezers. I hate shaving it because it grows back too quick, so I'll sit there for hours with tweezers and get rid of it all. Is that normal?

OK, I'll come out and say it... I'm a straight guy, who happens to not like body hair on anybody. I don't mind guys who have hair on legs, but hate to see anybody with long underarm hair. So that being said, for some time, I have been shaving my pubic hair just because I like the way it feels. Also, I hate seeing guys pubic hair on stalls in public restrooms! Man that is so gross! I started experimenting with plucking out the hairs. Believe me, it took some getting used to, but now, when you keep up with it, you don't have to do so much at a time and now a lot of it doesn't grow back at all and what does, doesn't grow back very fast and isn't prickly even when it does. Everyone has their own methods of removing hair. Do whatever you feel like doing!

Being a mammal, body hair is required.
If you pull it all out, you might become a lizard.
Good thing you weren't born a monkey!

There is a condition called trichotillomania which causes people to pull out the hair on different parts of their bodies. I've never heard of it in the pubic region but I'm not a doctor. If it bothers you, visit your mental health professional, who can provide effective treatment.

It is completely normal! :) I myself do the same thing too. And hey, if it doesn't hurt, why stop?

A ex girlfriend of mine did that as well. Same thing as you would just sit there and pluck. Cheaper than waxing and a lot longer lasting than shaving. lovely and smooth and she said it didn't seem to grow back so quick compared to waxing.
