Is it normal to pluck my armpit hair?

I have coarse hair, and my razor doesn't always take care of its job. But when I pluck a few armpit hairs, I either get redness, itchiness, ingrown hairs, and sometimes bleeding. :x

There's nothing wrong with plucking it really, an epilator is just a lot faster. Its the same as plucking, it just pulls several hairs at once.

  • It's actually common in some cultures, guys. Stop being non-diverse asses. I'm from japan and my mother told me if I could get some underarm hair, pluck it. The bleeding is a problem. I didn't have this. You might want to pluck it after a shower when your pores are more open.

That sounds extremely painful and time consuming!

Get an epilator. You won't be sorry.

there shouldnt be any problem with using a razor. maybe you dont change the blades often enough or you dont clean the hair off before trying to shave again. also how often do you shave? because if you try to shave when the hair is really long, then it would take a couple of attempts to shave all the hair off. i never heard of bleeding when you pluck, do you actually grab the skin when you pluck? maybe if you have so much trouble then you should get the hair waxed professionally.

I shave almost everyday, sometimes every other day. I don't grab the skin; sometimes the hair just has deeeeep roots. :x

Stop plucking if it hurts that much and makes you bleed. Try shaving. Also, you could get laser hair removal but that is a more expensive alternative. However, it will save you a lot of money on razors and shaving cream in the future.

    Use the trimmer.

The trimmer would show more stubble than a razor, wouldn't it? :x

Plucking under arm hair...? OMG...!!! THis is unheard of... There are MORE THAN AMPLE razors out there to do this job.. One PLUCKS EYEBROWS - not under arm hair..
I, as a long time married crossdresser, believe me,. have "covered" all the angles to femmininty, and again, you have to revert back to my first comments..
