Is it normal to pee in your own sleep?

Okay so today I woke up covered in piss.. I mean SOAKED. I had dreamt about going to the bathroom to pee but I was amazed to find out I had ACTUALLY pissed myself while I was dreaming about it. The funny part is that I think I subconsciously grabbed my dick, aimed, and then let loose under the sheets. Its the weirdest thing that has happened to me in a while. I haven't wet my bed like this in a really long time.. probably when I was about 6 or something. So is it normal for this to happen?

    I remember those dreams, good times.
    Drink less or use the bathroom before going to sleep.

    when I was about 17 I think I had a moment where I was dreaming and I really needed to go pee. I dreamt about me going into the bathroom and I peed. while I was peeing I realise I was on my bed and so I stoped and hurried to the bathroom. That was embarassing! I had to hide the fact the evidence! It would have been really embarassing if my parents caught me.

    HAHAHAHA.

    This happened to me a few years back when I lived with my Mom...
    So I have nights where I will wake up several times in the night to snack or something (I have low blood sugar problems) and one night I woke up and my sister (then 11, I was 17) was walking into the kitchen. I was asking her "Where are you going? Why are you up?" while behind her and she walked into the closet, pulled down her pants, and took a pee. Then I yelled at her to stop and she woke up really confused and told me that she thought she was in the bathroom XD

      my brothers done that before. My brother did that once he got up to go pee in the bathroom went straight to my trashcan and started peeing in it!! The trash can didnt have a trashbag so I got angry and yelled at him to ask him what was he doing. Then he realise what was happening went to the bathroom peed and the washed my trashcan.

      HAHA. I caught my brother peeing all over his own bed, in the same manner. Only problem is, i couldn't get him to wake up until after he had rolled around in it!

    i dreamed about myself going to the bathroom but couldnt pee, I went to another bathroom in a different place but then I still couldnt pee, then another one, the same, then i dreamed about myself waking up and going to the washroom in my house, but then i STILL couldn't pee out!! I was so frustraited in the dream, then I really woke up, found myself needing to pee so badly, then went to the bathroom 0.0 it was kinda creepy, not being able to pee even tho ur already in the washroom 0v0

    That's weird, i had dreams where i went to the bathroom, but i never actually did it. You must've been too tired to tell the difference.

    as an adult i've done that once. just a couple of drops before i woke up.

    i am not ashamed of this. i was extremely ill - so ill that i was admitted to the hospital that day.

    It happened to once when I was about 11, pretty much exactly the same way you describe. If it's just the once then I wouldn't worry too much.
