Is it normal to pee between 1 to 4 times a day?

I just had surgery over two weeks ago, I drink a lot of water because it’s all I can drink. Is it normal for a female to pee 2 to 4 times a day? It varies during the week.

    It would be abnormal if you WEREN'T peeing 1 to 4 times a day. If you're properly hydrated you will have to urinate several times throughout the day.

    Once a day is far too few and unhealthy: 4 or more times is normal.

      I can’t drink fruit juice I have a hiatal hernia.

        I also have a hiatal hernia, oesophagitis and gastritis. It doesn't stop me from drinking stuff like cranberry juice, beer, and tea on the odd occasion.

        Was your surgery on the hernia, or on something else?

          I have one of those too. Watch out for acid reflux; it can cause Barrett's esophagus. More info available from me, if you wish to know about it.

            I'm sorry to hear that. I have only had one endoscopy, they told me I had a hiatus hernia, and that they removed some polyps.

              I have the head of my bed elevated 6 inches. I wish I had done this sooner. Ever so slowly, the Barrett's is going away.
