Is it normal to panic when theres food stuck in my teeth?

Okay, so this has been happening lately, it just started actually.
Whenever I eat something and a reasonable sized piece of food gets stuck on the outside of my upper set of teeth, as if its wedged between my gums and mouth (ONLY in this place, left or right side) I start to kind of panic. I need to immediately push it out with my finger, if I cant do so with my mouth. This only happens if its a large piece of food and only in the place I described, its not technically in between my teeth, but thats the idea. Is this normal?

Your fear sounds a bit irrational to me. Are you afraid you might choke on it or something?
