Is it normal to paint a painting of a dog with a shirt and tie?

Okay so I'm an art student and I decided to do a painting of my dog. I started out by making it realistic but then decided it would be cool if it was kinda different. Its his head with a shirt and tie on. so like a dogs head and a human body. Is this normal and cool or is it stupid? and for the background i'm going to do some kinda wall paper print in lightish colors. my dogs brown and black and white. i dont know what color il make the shirt/tie. thanks guys! x

    anthro art. Its normal and quite common. Sounds like a great piece btw, you have a name for him? You should scan it and post it on furaffinity when your done.
