my sisters once told me that when we were camping that they woke up in the night, looked at me, and my eyes were open! and a few seconds later, i closed them! i dont think that it is normal.

    Yeah it happens to some people. My sister's boyfriend sleeps like that and my sister freaked out one night and thought he was dead lol.

    My mother's dog sleeps like that sometimes. I can't stand it. It's so creepy seeing his eyes roll about.

    My daughter sleeps with her eyes half open a lot. It's pretty freaky. I just rub my finger on her forehead and she closes them.

    if you have a cat or dog they also do it sometimes its normal

    I have slept with my eyes open since I was a baby. My mom says that the first time she noticed it she brought me to the hospital because she though I may have died in my sleep then came back to life! Scared the shit outta her! Anyway, I guess it's freaky looking but totally normal. (thanks, btw, you have made me feel better. Have never heard of anyone els who does this, lol)
