Is it normal to only be attracted to a couple people in 38 years?

I have had sex with a lot of people considering my situation (celibate for years at a time), but they have mostly been friends who were in love with me - people I wish I could have had romantic feelings for. I've only been passionate about 2 people, neither of whom I could be with (I didn't know this in the beginning, so it's not like I chose people because i couldn't have them). I meet a lot of people and get hit on a lot, so that's not it. Sometimes I think maybe I'm attracted to other women and haven't figured it out yet, but I don't really want to kiss them either. I also like sex, but not enough to have it with random people I consider unattractive. 99.999% of the human population is in this category to me. This is not something we can help! I hear most people see people they're attracted to all the time. I wish I could!
