Is it normal to only be able to sleep late at night with music?

Ok, I usually stay up at night to at least midnight, then I put on my headphones and I'm out in ten minutes. I can't fall asleep before unless I went somewhere with a different time zone or something. It's 2 am right now! And when I put on the music, after I fall asleep, I can bolt upright when this one song cones on thats so sad I cry. I rip my headphones out ones I notice and change the song...but then I fall right asleep! Is this normal?!

I slept with my music on, from my stereo on low or with my headphones on sometimes. And I fall asleep easily to. When I wake up though I am sometimes drowsy though... And I had some crazy amazing dreams to while listening to my music.

Its normal. I confess i listen to the entire HP collection on CD when i sleep. I have a really noisey family and they are night owles. So when i really need to sleep i turn that or music on to help me sleep. Its like white noise to drown out all that other crap that can keep you awake. Its normal. Only thing is, if you date someone who hates what your listening to... that sucks. almost impossible to got o sleep.

It's normal. I need to hear blaring music while I sleep or I don't sleep.
